Please put all trash & recycling out the night before your pick up day or by 5 am so you don't get missed. Pick up times may vary & we can't guarantee the same pick up time each week.

Yes, please bag trash so it doesn't stick inside of the cart. This keeps the carts clean on the inside and prevents windblown litter.

Yes, please bag recycling in a clear plastic bag and place next to your trash cart.  If using your own recepticle, recycling must still be bagged.

No, all recycling can be mixed together in a clear plastic bag.

Items like chairs, vacuums, dishwashers, mattresses and couches have an additional charge and need to be scheduled for pick up. Most of the time they can be picked up on your normal route day, but sometimes a special pick up day is needed.

Lakeland Disposal & Recycling does not pick up concrete, tires, heavy metals, grills or appliances.  You will need to contact Oneida County Landfill or Vilas County Landfill for disposal of these items.

We do not offer a pause option anymore. If you are set up for year-round service (whether you pay quarterly or annually), you pay whether you need the service or not. The only other option is seasonal service. For seasonal service, we set the start and stop dates for only the time frame you need service.

The only holidays that affect our pick schedule are Thanksgiving & Christmas.  For these holidays, your pick up day will be pushed a day later.  Please see our Calendar for information on route changes. Our drivers are still running their routes on all other holidays, just starting a little earlier than ususal.
